I agree. I've been over there once. It's a hellofa drive in the middle of nowhere, but once you get to the place, it's amazing. It was off season and they weren't pressing grapes, but we still got a nice tour.

Jason, one of the distillers/vintners was a fantastic guy to talk to. He knows alcohol from top to bottom and has a great respect for all things that ferment. He even shared some mead he had distilled - WOW!

Those are the kind of assignments I really like!

Definitely worth a trip - and then make sure you hit Rich O's in New Albany on your way back.
For everyone I haven't met, I used to live in Evansville and was a member of OVHA. After moving home to Jasper, and missing having good friends to brew with, I decided to try to start my own club. I am happy to say that I have been the president of the Dubois County Suds Club since 2006 (although I still miss my OVHA buddies)!
