Looking to start kegging

Post by drhusker18 » Wed Oct 18, 2017 10:00 pm

Anyone know of items for kegging being sold?

Gonna build a kegerator this late fall but would like to get a brew going to sit and have easy transfer for first tap in Dec. likely use a small chest freezer.

I might buy 1 new keg then a few used after that. AIH has them pretty reasonable and on sale now (used)

Anyone recommend adequate prices for co2 tank and manifolds, etc.?

I check this website frequently for good deals
http://www.homebrewfinds.com/

You can get the inkbird temperature controller on amazon for $35 bucks
https://smile.amazon.com/Inkbird-Itc-30 ... ds=inkbird

williams brewing has a 2 valve manifold for $20, 3 valve for $25 and 4 valve for $30 and $6.99 flat rate shipping
https://www.williamsbrewing.com/GAS-DIS ... -C117.aspx

I get my co2 tanks re-filled at what I think is a reasonable price at Evansville Welding Supply 7330 Enterprise Park Cir, Evansville, IN 47715

I'm moving and I cant get my old keggerator out of my basement so I will be making a new one soon too. If you find any incredible deals post em!

I used Keg Connection for my tubing & regulators
https://www.kegconnection.com
If you have a design and hose lengths figured out, they will assemble all the parts and pressure test FOR FREE! I have and 8 tap system with 8-way secondary regulator and it works great! No leaks. Can't say the same for the kegs, but I got those from John Mills :-D
